To make the most out of your experience at the 2019 APAC Totara User Conference, here are some quick tips:

Share ideas, network and swap stories with forward-thinking L&D Managers, LMS Administrators, and more

The 2019 Totara APAC User Conference will be the largest Totara-hosted event in the southern hemisphere and it's the perfect time to mingle and interact with your Totara peers and share knowledge around developing new approaches within your field to tackle challenges you might be facing. The benefits of an open source community such as Totara, means you have access to like-minded individuals who are open to sharing and collaborating. Embrace the Freedom to Learn at the User Conference; make sure you come prepared with questions to ask partners and users as this will help you get the most out of knowledge-sharing opportunities during the event.

Just take a look at Law Society NSW, who shared their experience with over 100 attendees at the 2018 User Conference in Sydney:

Spend some time with your Totara Partner

The APAC User Conference is a great opportunity to catch up with your Totara Partner, grab a coffee (on the house!) and talk to each other about how they can continue to help your L&D department meet business outcomes. The Totara network understands that your needs are constantly evolving and while you might decide to embrace the freedom to innovate and go at it alone with your in-house teams, the Totara Partners can always offer guidance or support on your next project or challenge you might come across. So drop your Totara Partner an email prior to the event and let them know you're attending and that you'd love to chat during one of the networking breaks.

If you're not a Totara Learn user (yet), this is a great chance to learn more about the product, meet the team and hear from experts across Asia Pacific

This is a common question the team gets asked: Can I attend if I'm not a user? A number of organisations across the region are constantly evaluating and reviewing Totara Learn as a prospective learning management system for their organisation. The Totara User Conference isn't just limited to current users. The Conference is designed for anyone considering adding Totara Learn to their L&D mix, as they'll get a chance to hear real case studies from our user-speakers, including Henley Properties, Relationships Austalia Queensland, Austin Health and how Totara Learn has changed the way these teams operate their learning and development departments with Totara.

Get hands-on with partner-led workshops on Day 2

"The workshop was a great opportunity to work in a small group and learn more about Totara. They are extremely beneficial."

Attendee feedback from the 2018 APAC User Conference held in Sydney.

Based on the positive feedback from last year's User event, Totara Partners are hosting several workshops during Day 2 of the User Conference on some hot topics - H5P, Virtual Reality, People Insights, xAPI and heaps more. These workshops are designed to help the learning and development professionals understand what's happening in the industry and how to effectively apply some of these elements into the workplace (where it permits). Totara Partners are passionate and knowledgeable on these topics and all users attending Day 1 are encouraged to BYOD and get hands-on during the workshops. Spread across three streams throughout the day, users can pick and choose the right workshops for them and curate their day as need be. Best part? If you can't make Day 1, you can still pop into a workshop and vice-versa.

So now that you have some ideas on how to make the most out of the largest Totara-user event in the southern hemisphere, are you ready to join us?
