Discendum Oy helps customers in Finland embrace the freedom to learn

Discendum Oy has been successfully inspiring its customers in the implementation of high-quality online learning projects since 2001. They offer efficient online services for managing learning and competencies as well as providing consulting services for organisations of all sizes in the Finnish market.

We spoke to Nilüfer Piirainen on their experiences as a Totara Partner.

Why did you become a Totara Partner?

"There were a lot of business customers using Moodle that needed a trustworthy and professionally developed solution in place of Moodle that was otherwise thought to be a good platform."

How has Totara impacted your business?

"We have successfully broadened our customer base as planned. We have increased our recognisability in the Finnish corporate world as a good and reliable Totara Learn service provider."

What do your customers say about Totara?

"Totara Learn stood out from the options available in the market because the platform was versatile and cost efficient. In addition, the platform was ready for use and didn't need customising. Because there are so many settings and ways to use the service, we have found a way to do things to meet nearly all of our needs. What are your greatest achievements to date as a Totara Partner?

One of our greatest achievements has been significantly improving skills development at a corporate level for our major customers.

For instance, our LMS for RAY has improved the user experience and made it easier for managers to track performance through the use of Totara Learn’s certifications and reports.

We also helped our customer Patria implement Totara Learn, and they have managed to derive more value from their training sessions by supplementing face-to-face sessions with e-learning to systematically manage their standardised qualification process.
